Lost functionality after today's software update!
After the software update this morning, the apple watch app no longer lets you find the menu to start drill mode, nor to end the workout.
After swimming a few laps, I wanted to enter drill mode. I released the water lock as normal, but then the app would not respond to the command to show the menu to begin drill mode. Tried it a few times, no luck.
Then, at the end of the workout, I again released the water lock, and the app would not respond to the command to show the menu to end the swim. It just kept clicking off time, but would not allow me to end the swim. So I finally had to just power off the watch, which of course, lost the workout entirely.
Did they change the way to show the menu with this software update? Did anyone else have the same problem after updating the software?

I’ve got the same problem, the app has been brilliant until now but it seems the force touch functionality has been turned off and you have no way of stopping the workout and saving it

Same problem here. Any news on any fixes?

No news. Tried restarting the watch. No help. Today I used Swimpro, which works but did not show the intervals as to do them. Did record them. I stopped the Swim.com app last week by starting Swimpro and the watch messaged that two apps can’t run at the same time, so could stop the recording.

I’ve had an email from the company saying they’re contacting the developer to resolve it, it’s really annoying as it’s a great app, Swimpro is good but doesn’t auto pause which is why I love the Swim.com app so much!

The swim pro will record the intervals and are visible on the phone app. But not during the swim. I agree really enjoyed using the app.

Same problem here. 1st time using it on Apple Watch 7.

My problem with the watch (series 6) not responding to the force touch, so not being able to start a drill mode, nor end the swim workout was resolved by shutting down the watch and restarting it. So now, I am able to use force touch, but the app still dramatically undercounts my laps. It shows backstroke as breastroke, doesn't acknowledge breastroke at all, and undercounts everything by close to half.

Same. Had to reboot my Apple Watch and start a new workout. Annoying.
