Don't have a swim tracking device or forgot to bring it with you for your swim? That's ok, you can still manually input your activity details.
Did you complete a non-swimming type of activity (running, cycling, yoga, etc.) and want it to appear in your Swim.com feed? Awesome! We can help with that too!
To manually enter an activity, touch the add activity icon that appears in the app in the upper left corner of the screen. This icon is visible when the Progress or Swims tab is selected at the bottom.
For swims, this feature only allows you to add duration and distance. If you need to enter more detailed information beyond duration and distance, navigate to the workouts tab on the mobile app and choose to create your own custom workout. Once you have created a custom workout, you will want to choose "log swim from workout" to add it to your swim feed. This swim entry can be edited to reflect your actual times. To do this, choose "View Swim Details", then select the edit icon in the upper right corner.
To enter other types of activities (cross-training), simply change the first drop down from Swim to Cross-Training and then adjust the second drop down the type of activity and fill in the applicable details. At this time, Swim.com cannot parse any non-swimming activity .fit files recorded by a Garmin, Suunto, or other type of wearable. In order to get these types of activities into your Swim.com feed, they need to be manually entered.
