For the best experience with Swim.com’s full suite of features, we recommend using a wearable device to track your swim activity. Below, you’ll find details on supported devices and account linking options to maximize your swim tracking capabilities.

## **Swim.com Watch App Compatibility**

### **Apple Watch**

**Supported Models:**

*   Series 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
*   SE (1st & 2nd Generation)
*   Ultra, Ultra 2

> 📌 _Note:_ While the Apple Watch Series 1 can download the Swim.com app, it is **not recommended** for swimming due to limited water resistance, which may cause irreversible damage.

### **Samsung Galaxy Watch**

**Supported Models:**

*   Galaxy Watch 4
*   Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
*   Galaxy Watch 6

> 📌 _Requirement:_ Samsung Galaxy Watches must have a **water resistance rating of 5 ATM (50 meters)** to be eligible for Swim.com app installation via the Samsung Galaxy App Store.

### **WearOS Devices**

**Recommended Models:**  
WearOS watches with a **minimum water resistance of 5 ATM or 50 meters** are recommended for optimal performance.

## **Account Linking Support (API Integration)**

### **Garmin**

To sync your swim data, your Garmin device must support **lap swim and/or open water swim tracking.**

### **Suunto**

Swim.com integrates with Suunto through the Suunto app on your mobile device. Ensure you have an active **Suunto account** to enable data transfer.

### **Apple Health Integration**

To sync swim data between **Apple Health/Activity** and Swim.com:

1.  Open the **Apple Health** app.
2.  Navigate to **Settings > Apps > Swim.com**
3.  Enable **Read/Write permissions** to ensure data transfer.

> 📌 _Tip:_ Other third-party lap swim tracking apps may also sync data to Swim.com via Apple Health. For further assistance, contact **support@swim.com**.

## **Additional Supported Platforms**

Swim.com is compatible with the following platforms for swim tracking and data sharing:

*   **Strava**
*   **Wahoo**
*   **Ciye**

## **Legacy Devices (No Longer Actively Supported)**

These devices can install a legacy version of the Swim.com app but will **not** receive updates or new features:

### **AndroidWear 1.5 Devices**

*   Example: **Sony Smartwatch 3**
*   ⚠️ _Note:_ This version **does not** support updates, new features, or bug fixes.

### **Swimovate/Poolmate**

*   Data sync is still available via **API account link** at [MyPoolmate.com](http://mypoolmate.com).

### **Pebble/Pebble Time | Finis Swimsense**

These devices are no longer supported and may not function correctly with Swim.com.

### **Samsung Legacy Devices**

*   **Galaxy Active series**
*   **Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro**
*   **Galaxy Fit (via Samsung Galaxy App Store)**
